When I introduce myself as a Youth Member of Parliament for Lebialem, some people hear “MP” and picture the National Assembly. The work is real. The institution is different.
Youth Parliament, organised through the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education with Espérance Jeunesse, is a national civic-leadership platform. Junior MPs debate, represent constituencies, and practise the habits of public service.
Clarity is a form of respect — for the Assembly, for young people, and for anyone evaluating a public profile.
